The main organizer of the conference was the Cyprus Society for Education through Arts (CySEA). Officials from the Ministry of Education and Culture were actively involved in the conference’s organizing and scientific committees, as well as in the artistic events. They also presented various topics in keynotes, panel discussions, and posters, relating to the work being carried out in Cyprus in the field of Visual Arts education.
As part of the conference, there was an opportunity to present the new Visual Arts Curriculum (VAC) by officials from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The presentation, titled “Reforming the Curriculum of Art Education in Cyprus”, was delivered in the conference plenary session by Primary Education Art Inspectors Mr. Genethlis Genethliou and Ms. Teresa Lambrianou, Secondary Education Art Inspector Mr. George Gavriel, and Art Advisor Ms. Tatiana Sotiropoulou.
