ABOUT US

    Who is CySEA

Cyprus Society for Education through the Arts (CySEA) is a recognised non-governmental, non-profit organisation with a long-standing presence in the fields of culture and education in Cyprus. Since 1980, it has been promoting education and culture by harnessing the power of the arts to enrich people’s lives and enhance creative expression across all ages.

Through programmes, initiatives, and collaborations, CySEA aims to help shape a more creative, empathetic, and inclusive society – where the arts become tools for learning, personal development, and social cohesion.

Empowering the Next Generation in Arts and Education

The Youth Committee of CySEA brings children, teenagers, and young adults up to 30 years old closer to the world of arts and creative learning. Through awareness, engagement, and inspiration activities, the Committee gives a voice to the younger generation, encouraging them to get to know the Organisation, register as Members, and actively participate in its initiatives and programmes.

If you are a young person aged 15 to 30, love the arts and volunteering, and are interested in joining the Youth Committee of CySEA, get in touch with us!

Remember: the Youth Committee is more than just a group of young people – it’s a space for expression, collaboration, and creativity, where young people help shape the future of CySEA with fresh ideas, passion, and innovation.

    Collaborations ΚΟΕΤ

Over the decades, CySEA has developed a dynamic network of partnerships with organisations that share common values and a vision for education, culture, and social progress.

These partnerships include public institutions, educational establishments, cultural and artistic organisations, museums, NGOs, associations, and local authorities – both in Cyprus and internationally. Through these collaborations, we design and implement innovative programmes, participatory learning initiatives, cultural events, and European projects, with the aim of bringing the arts closer to education and society.

Each partnership represents an opportunity for CySEA to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices, fostering cross-sectoral dialogue and expanding the reach of arts education across various aspects of life.
